Hello guys and gals! Today here you have a post regarding the question: how to be a better gamer? It may be hard to answer but here I do my best to explain it clearly and as exactly as I can.
The dream of becoming a better gamer isn't different than the dream of becoming a great football player or a fantastic guitar player. They all are searching for a way to be better in the sport/activity they love and that's why they aren't different in essence and the uniques things you need are:
- Effort.
- Dedication.
- Time.
- Patience.
After this short introduction we will go in deep to our central topic and here I leave you a nice and practical video that explains the basics that every gamer should follow.
Even if you don't consider it important, practicing sports is crucial for everyone looking how to be a better gamer because you need to have cat-like reflexes and sports like basketball can improve this field very much. Another option is to practice martial arts but it is up to you which sport you want to practice but in case you do not want to practice any sport then you must follow this advice:
If you think sports are not your thing then skipping rope is for you. It's like another cardio exercise but will improve your reflexes very much and you do not require a gym, only a patio or a park and a rope and you are done. Here I leave a short video explaining the basics:
With this idea clear let's move on into other aspects to make of you a better gamer!
Remember "the practice makes the master", the more time you practice the better you will become but here I want to point out something important, you must practice consciously about what are you doing and noticing your progress and possible weakness so that you can fix them. It's an aspect most people ignore, they only think that by working harder they will become better but it's only true in a part because you need to work harder and smarter.
A good gamer isn't who plays 1000 games, is who plays a few games and is a master playing them. You got to identify which kind of games you like (strategy? races?) and then test the games that reside in this category and find your favorites and play them constantly until you master almost all aspects but remember there is always something new to learn and you may have your mind open to receive this new information.
Another important thing you must take in count is that you need time and patience to wait for results, you will not become a great gamer in a few hours, it's a matter of even years but you have to think that this day will arrive; just keep trying and trying, learning from your mistakes will build up a better version of yourself and one day you will discover you are an excellent gamer :)
Hope this post is useful in your quest about how to become a better gamer, take in count every point given in this article and I'm sure you will improve yourself.
